It doesn't look like we'll need a separate driver. The date is Thursday,
January 2.

I lost track of how many volunteers you have, but I'll be available, and,
though not optimal, my CRX would work to move it.

hey, you can actually fit a lot in a CRX, just not very many people!

I have a Horizon we can use. (Sorry, Steve, it's not good for going to
Livonia) for either people or computer. Probably slightly less space with
the back seat up than Jan's CRX, more with the back seat down.

Does more now support changing the propmt? I recall that being your chief
objection to using it for newbies.

I just tried locate, and it faulted. Oh, well.

Odd. I tried it on a file that didn't exist, and it went through many many
directories, ended by saying it didn't exist.

(If it's no longer under warranty, I'll have a stab a fixing it for Grex.
Provided I can test it with my Mac or PC.)

It's back up, but it's up at 14.4K. Getting a faster modem shouldn't be
difficult and should be a high priority, so I hope this won't last long.

Klaus slipped in. I'll drop it by your house tonight. It seems to keep
the phone off the hook, so all I get on it is the loud "your phone is off the
hook" beep or nice voices saying to please hang up and dial again. Sounds
like a dead relay. STeve said it was 3? years old, so likely it is out of
warrantee. I'll see what documentation I can dig up.

I found a manual that appears to go with our modem. It looks like it had a
2 year warrantee. I'll let Klaus take a shot at it.

Yep, sounds like a bad rely. Think I have a spare in my junk box.

Klaus did indeed have a spare in his junk box, which is now in our modem,
which is now back in service, our internet connection is now back to it's
usual speedy (well, comparitively) 28.8K rate.

Big thanks to Klaus for making this speedy repair.
