Earlier today I got the bash-malloc problem again. It seems to have produced a
core file in my home directory, which I am leaving for a little while in the
hopes that that will help.

Grex is back up now, now that some fat Grexer has waddled down to the New
Centre and pushed the reset button, but is ANYONE going to take the hint, i.e.
that Grex crashing every two days is indickative of a SERIOUS problem?

Backtalk won't take my password. I can only login via the old fashioned ways.

Backtalk logins should now work. I had a minor error in the config file for
pwauth. Sorry, can't really test that well until we enable logins.
The warning message printed as you enter Picospan is because the picospan
binary was compiled on a slightly different version of OpenBSD. Since we
don't have source to it, we can't easily rebuild it here.

I'm having trouble recompiling my C++ programs to work with the new
operating system. They compile, but won't link; the linker fails to find a
bunch of symbols beginning with "_Unwind_". These are not symbols
referenced in my code; the compiler must have put them in. Anyone know what
to do? A search for _Unwind_ on google yields very technical results.
There must be a quick fix to this, because everything compiled fine on the
old system.

Hello:
I just posted this in the wrong forum -:)
In case the staff is not aware of it, ftp in and out is not working.
Thanks,

I've fixed the ftp problem. We were missing the privilege separation
user "_ftp" in /etc/passwd.

Oops. Before copying over Grex's old passwd file, I should have made
sure that it included all the special users that were in the new system.

I am still unable to ftp out of Grex.
I sent a test e-mail to trh@cyberspace.org. It bounced.
Pine complains that /var/mail/trh does not exist.
Please fix.
Thanks,
Ahmet Toprak
