That's odd, I haven't read about a single Dem calling for his arrest. You must
have looked hard to find that one.

Not too hard, actually. Is this the only left-leaning website you go to?

I haven't seen a serious media personality calling for his arrest.
Comments on Grex don't count.

You didn't say "any Democratic media personalities" earlier, you said "any
Democrats."

There are a number of liberals in here who have suggested just that.

It is a pitty this is actually drowning out the treasonous statements by Al
Gore uttered in the mideast recently.

Yeah. Al "jazeerah" Gore did worse. What he said in Saudi Arabia was
not an accident

Maybe you and bap and nharmon could quit your coy routines and actually
post a quote and URL? That isn't asking too much, is it?

Another case of treason by criticism of the Bush Administration. Pretty
soon everyone except those who are either stupid or blind or enriched by
Bush policies will be a traitor, if we're not already.

ERic the Lush: You must be delusional. Did you see President Bush's
reaction at the recent King funeral after he was blasted by that idiot
Lowry?? The President has more grace and style in his little finger
than his critics have in their whole bodies.

I'm not a liberal, but I do believe that what's good for the goose is good
for the gander. Hold Cheney to the Ken Starr moral compass of impeachment
hearings and lets put his Class C misdemeanor on trial just like the bj trial
for Clinton. Dems and GOP will both waste lots of money on character
assassinations and I'm not one to stand in the way. Makes good TV!

NRA Sues Mayor Ray Nagin

Fairfax, VA-The National Rifle Association (NRA ) has filed a motion for
contempt against the City of New Orleans, the mayor and the acting chief
of police for failure to comply with a temporary restraining order,
handed down September 12, 2005, ordering an end to all illegal gun
confiscations.

"With looters, rapists and other thugs running rampant in New Orleans,
Ray Nagin issued an order to disarm all law-abiding citizens," declared
Wayne LaPierre, NRA executive vice president. "With no law enforcement
and 911 available, he left the victims vulnerable by stripping away
their only means of defending themselves and their loved ones. Now Ray
Nagin thinks he's above the law, and that's just wrong."

Attorneys for NRA have exhausted all efforts to cooperate with the
defendants, Mayor Nagin and Chief Riley, who repeatedly ignored the
court's permanent restraining order against their illegal gun
confiscations.

"Ray Nagin is a colossal disappointment," said Chris W. Cox, NRA chief
lobbyist. "During a federally declared emergency, he abused his power
and abandoned the very people he was sworn to protect. He took away the
victims' freedom and their basic means of self-defense during an
ill-fated and perilous time."

The motion also includes an order that all seized firearms must be
returned to their rightful owners.
