I have prisms in mine, too.

I understand about the glasses at night. I had to spend extra on my glasses
for anti-glare and a few other thigns. I have "naturally large pupils" so
now I have to have precript sunglasses for when it's bright, and if I can't
get more anti-glare stuff (which kinda works, but kinda doesn't) I won't be
able to drive at night soon. It's frustrating as hell, and for a while I
thought I had glaucoma like my mother, but it turns out that my eyes are just
made funny. <sighs>

If the anti-glare doesn't work, go with rose tinted glasses.

Okay. We'll get another song in your head.
It's a small world after all, it's a small world after all...
<ducks and hides>

I'm bloody pissed off because for the life of me I can't figure our the
accounting and I'm pissed because my group isn't getting together until
9 pm tonight to work on the damn thing that is due tomarrow. I hate
classes, I hate school. It pisses me off

(What eye problem do prisms in your glasses correct? -- or do they just m;ake
the world look funny?)

I'm rather peeved -- my Exciting Electronic Music Class will be changing times
next term, even though they didn't announce that anywhere until the first day
of class, so it's going to interfere with my Wonderful Alternative Physics
Sequence and my Lovely History of Philosophy Class. Not only that, but it
turns out that if I do switch my major to CS, the alternative physics class
won't do me any good anyway since I'll be required to take a real one. So
I've pretty well gotta drop two of the three kick-ass classes that I was so
excited to get -- I knew my schedule was too good to be true.

When I had a prism in my right lense, it enabled me to see singly
instead of doubly because my eye doctor over-corrected my eyes when he
tried to correct them. So, I had to have surgery this past August to
correct the over correctness.

I can't help but wonder if hematite is trying for the wrong major. If
you hate class now, how are you going to feel about doing it for moeny
after you graduate, for the rest of your life?

response 64 of 691: Mark Unseen   Sep 29 02:52 UTC 2000

Marcus, I've already thought about that. I'm going through the classes
for now until I decide if I like them enough to continue or if I find
something else I'd rather do. The problem is right now there is nothing
I want to do. I hate science, history, and english. I'm not talented
enough for music or theatre. <shrug> When I have the chance I need to
go to the career centre and they have some things to help you sort out
what you want to do and what you should major in.
I get so frustrated easily, especially when I don't understand
something, and even more so when I don't hear from people that I have
to depend on.
And this is only the tip of the iceberg that are my problems and life..

And now back to your regularly scheduled Agoraing...

Er, is that an alternative to the normal sequence of physics classes, or a
sequence of classes on alternative physics? The latter would be, um,
intriguing. :)

Just had a nasty argument with a dear friend...so bad that I'm in tears. Ugh.
We're going to discuss things tomorrow when we aren't so tired. He and I left
with hugs, but I'm still upset over the subject matter.

re #64... I went through the exact same thing, Wendy. I hated science
and math. Wasn't enthused about English at the time. Hated business,
theater or dance. Bored with journalism. So where do such people end up?

Psychology!! :)

<hugs Sarah> Wanna talk later?

Heh, I started in Psychology and then moved over to History... was a
good move for me educationally, if not career-wise. (People are always
telling me 'Well you could teach...' Well... I don't wanna teach, I
wouldn't do well which would annoy me and not benefit my students.)

point in my life. He made me feel bad for wanting it. =(

I'm bummed because I had mono, and even though I'm feeling _much_ better
(like, pretty much 100%-- I'm not even tired) the doctors tell me my spleen
is too big to do anything and won't let me ice skate. I'm _so_ Peeved!

I'm also bummed because my boy said he'd call me last night so I sat by the
phone like a silly middle schooler, and sure enough, he didn't call. Argh.
I fell asleep by the phone with my contacts in, and was _quite_ annoyed when
I woke up three hours later and he still hadn't called. :p

IBB I didn't get to spend more time with Mike, and I won't get to see him
again until June. I'm very grateful that I got to see him, though, and he's
doing really well.
