Yes, that is a little odd.. But a short time ago the system was
running out of processes, apparently because of all of the exim
processes running (I didn't count them but there were a bunch..)

I removed about 4500 messages from the outgoing mail queue that
had been sent by someone phishing or sending spam, and then locked
their account (not that that will do any good..)

Grex isn't accepting telnet connections.

response 52 of 71: Mark Unseen   Dec 17 04:24 UTC 2005

More specifically, it is not accepting connections coming in from
network device bge0. Telnet to "localhost" via the loopback device
does appear to be working.

Results of the Grex Board of Directors election: Everybody was elected
- Mark Conger (aruba), Bruce Howard (bhoward), Larry Kestenbaum
(polygon), and S. Lynne Fremont (slynne).

It wasn't a contest this year; the number of candidates equalled the
number of open slots.

See item 288, response 101 of the Coop conference for the totals.
(resp:coop,288,101)

Continuing board members with unexpired terms are Dave Cahill (dpc) and
Joe Gelinas (gelinas).

Steve Van Loons, whose term would have continued through the end of
2006, resigned in November. A special election will be held early next
year to fill the vacancy.

I'm disappointed tod didn't run. There is still a chance if you
can convince him to try for the seat left open by Steve Van Loons
resignation.

I'm sure he'd run if you restored those censored parenting cf items.

I honestly don't have the time to commit myself professionally to Grex.
On that note, I've got a luncheon at McCormick & Schmick's in 10 minutes.
