Mmmmm 12 hours of sleep, hot shower and a day of laying around relaxing

I finished my skirt!!! And my shawl!!! <bounce> I still have a bit of
hemming to do, but I don't really count that. ;-) I did a trial fit on the
skirt, and the waist is too big, but I can fix that when I do the hem.
Yay! It's soooooo cute too.

I would like to announce that my friends also rock. I have begun the packing
process...and my mother is acting like a real mommy and took care of me with
my bronchitis two times this week and is also giving me her television for
my new apartment, as it has closed captioning for a friend of mine.
I am also EXTREMELY happy that I have 4.7 more days to work, and then I am
off for 9 days in a row, to pack and move and relax....Woo Hoo!

I get to go home for almost a whole week for thanksgiving! a whole 6
days away from the boss who thinks the sole purpose of a grad student is
to make overheads, grade really stupid problem sets, and carry his friggin
chalk and water. not to mention none of this in-to-work by 8 a.m. crap. :)

Happy happy - husband home safe and sound . . .party on saturday was a fun

(Trenary Toast is hardened cinnamon toast made a certain way so that it's
better than biscotti, very addictive, and DELICIOUS when dunked in cocoa or
coffee. It's made in Trenary, MI, hence the name. People used to drive there
just to get it, but there is now a website out of a store there that will take
online orders...can't recall the URL...)

Kai Garden (chinese restaurant) on Main street has a kick-ass seafood sweet
and sour noodle soup, very spicy. Now I've found out they also make a Korean
version.... <drool>
