(there are a couple of scripts/programs on Grex that can be used
for checking letter matches. I recommend /a/k/e/kentn/do.lm
of course, before using it, you should look it over, copy it to your own
directory, etc.)

It's kind of nostalgic to have mistakes in the scoring...
(Don't let it bother you, Jonathan - we all used to make mistakes before we
got tired enough of them to automate the process.)

Didn't know about Kent's script, but I'll check that out. I do believe only
the one mistake was made, however.
Congratulations, Kip.

"quidam" can't be 6 because "sUrvey" was scored as zero. Perhaps
survey should have a score of one?

Well, we're all human. I know I will appreciate the pointer to Kent's script
as I too have been doing my scoring on these games by hand.
I'll try to have a new word tomorrow morning.

Yes, survey should've been a 1. Yes, I missed that several times. As much
as I hate to admit it, I make mistakes every once in a while, too :).

I have a script too, though so far no one else has ever used it. ;) Let me
know if you want to try, and I'll send a copy and instructions.
