Well, that was fast. Sorry I couldn't come up with a better word.
You're up, Kent!

Okay, I'll try to have new word in mind next time I'm on. BTW,
you got past 12 guesses, so that's pretty good. I think once
or twice in these games, someone guessed the word on the first
guess.

In the case of the one guess game, though, one can never be sure if the word
holder just decided to give the word away to the first guesser.

There is a finite probability of the first guess be right, so it would be
strange if it *didn't* happen.

Well, there's a finite positive probability that all the particles in my
body will simultaneously disappear and reappear one foot to my right. But
it is very unlikely to happen in my lifetime.

Seriously, though. One can't be sure that the player just gave the word away
to the first contestant, in the case of the one word guess.

It was Tom Paine that asked his readers to consider the relative probability
of a miracle occurring or someone telling a lie.

We've been playing these word guess games for a long time now, so unless
someone on grex decided to rig the game by giving the word away, we've
had plenty of games and guesses in which to see all kinds of guesses and
number of letters correct. Also, when we first started, the words tended
to be simpler, since we were emulating Rane's car-based version where
players need to remember the previous guesses.
Okay, I'm thinking of a 7-letter word that is not:
network 0 (Previous Word)
The summary of the guesses is in ~kentn/letter.match7
