Re. 26: It's been paid up. Simply waiting for some hold up in the Treasury
Department to clear through.

My membership is paid up under a different login. I will ask the treasurer
to switch the "paidupness" to cmcgee.

Re #33: Asking here is good enough. I have changed Colleen's membership
from her old login to "cmcgee".

The nominations closed two days ago; the members who accepted nominations
(or nominated themselves) are cmcgee and scholar.

I think the polls are supposed to be open, or maybe they were supposed to
open in just over three hours.

Was Tony Chamberlain given a chance to establish his membership in order
to be a part of the election?

Re #38: Not sure what you mean, Nathan - anyone can become a member at any
time, just by sending money to Grex.

response 41 of 57: Mark Unseen   Feb 8 14:00 UTC 2007

Okay, I wasn't sure if anybody told Tony Chamberlain that he needed to
get his membership in order. I guess it doesn't really matter anyway.

Thanks Joe.

Candidate statement (will post later this weekend as a retrievable statement).

I'm running for the open board seat because I believe Grex needs to find a
way to involve active members, new and old, in maintaining its community and
mission. Members, staff, and board need to examine what is working and what
is not, and find creative ways to reward participation and support.

response 52 of 57: Mark Unseen   Feb 22 23:21 UTC 2007

The polls closed at Midnight; the VoteAdm, Ad Hoc, just signed on for the
first time since the polls closed. The results will posted as soon as
they are available.
gelinas
response 53 of 57: Mark Unseen   Feb 22 23:51 UTC 2007

The votes have now been counted. 23 people voted: 21 members and 2
non-members. cmcgee received nineteen members' votes, and scholar received
two member's votes; cmcgee is therefore elected to the Cyberspace
Communications, Inc, Board of Directors.

One non-member voted for cmcgee, and the other cast a null vote.

Congratulations, Ms. Mcgee.

Gelinas.
Vote Adm, Ad Hoc.
