The media likes to say "the new normal" regarding lockdowns, death,
quarantine, sickness, devastated economic conditions, police
checkpoints, people turning in their neighbors.

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=media+says+new+normal&t=canonical&ia=web

I reject it 100%.
The new normal is the old normal.
For thousands of years, quarantine meant corralling off the sick.
Now the healthy are being quarantined and the world has grinded to a
halt. 35-80k people die in the United States each year of the regular
flu. If these control freaks are going to react this way over every
viral threat, I suspect they want to lock humanity down and tame it. It
won't end well. The turning point will be on April 30 when States
decided to extend or end the "stay at home" orders.

I saw on the news that Kroger workers are now dying.
Seriously made me sad.
I have been there as a human being - trapped with low income, not having
many choices. Knowing I had to work a menial job to make it to the next
level, knowing there were no other options but being a State parasite
(no thank you). People are literally dying to serve Americans processed
food designed to make them unhealthy. Get me off the hamster treadmill!

This month, we were able to give extra help to one of the scholarship
students, a working mother of two who was laid off last month due to COVID-19
and could not pay her portion of her 3rd-course fees.

All through the year, we receive messages of gratitude from our scholarship
students. The scholarship program is changing lives and thats thanks to you.
This note is from scholarship awardee, xxxxxx:

Dear Scholarship Donor,

I am honored to be one of the recipients of the xxxxxxxxxx Scholarship
award. Thanks to your generosity, I have been able to participate in the Data
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx, continue my education and learn new skills
that are having great impact on my career.

As a first-generation immigrant from Vietnam and a main financial support to
my mother, this scholarship has helped me gain new skills while avoiding more
financial stress on my shoulders.

I am already using new skills and techniques learned in the first two courses
to increase efficiency in my work and resolve data discrepancies for my team.
I have been given more projects related to sales data analysis in my role as
an assistant buyer/merchandiser.

--

..is it wrong to wonder what's up with that scholarship allocation when
in my mind "scholar" is typically about academic achievement above
and beyond in this particular field?

Now that the coverage of the Marxist uprising is waning, Covid-19
numbers are suddenly and mysteriously skyrocketing despite the fact that
until a week ago they were way down. They told us in April there would
be a second wave. This one is right on schedule.

Ask yourself why America has many times the number of Corona infected
than any other country. China has 84k cases. America has 2.4 million,
despite having a fraction of China's population. Is it that we are more
honest with numbers, counting people that aren't sick for political
reasons or because Americans are more vulnerable to it? I'm calling
bullshit. https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/map.html

Sorry to hear about your friends. Yikes! I don't know anyone who had it
or has it - that I know of.

Enslaving people and eating dogs...not a good culture.
After all, the party is the culture. They (CCP) make anecdotal claims
about banning vile things but obviously it goes on everywhere. Lip
service. The wet market itself is sickening and vile.

I know people get more upset about that than knowing that Uighurs and
Falun Gong are having their organs harvested and are enslaved in
factories that make Chinese exports.

Americans need to make better choices when it comes to buying things. I
try in vain to not buy China. The only way to tell American corporations
to stop enabling slavery and destroying American jobs is to vote with
the dollar. I know - captain obvious here. But it needs to be repeated.

"Buy American" is a punchline to people - they pile into Wal*Mart where 90%
of the stuff is straight out of the Ughur suffering hands.
Amazon? Not holding my breath for the "US Made Only" search option.
It's a National Security issue - but apathy and vicarious social justice.

I went to the Falun Gong overhyped version of their Cirque du Soleil thing
called Shen Yun. It was like a jr high version of The King and I with
a creepy and underfunded sad vibe of Scientology cult. You would have
to be drunk on mushroom tea to stick around for the recruitment.
I feel bad for religious minorities but at the same time understand that
Chinese art and culture is at stake and needs to be defended from within.
ISIS & Palmyra...at what point does American protect its culture and
statues? Or does it fall into a ridiculous Bolsheshit Revolution?

Same people begging to let millions out of jail "due to covid";

Now they are blaming the spike in crime on "the economy".
Now they are blaming the spike in COVID on "trump rallies".

Same people begging to defend police wanted criminals out of jail.
The DNC are writing GOP campaign ads with this stuff.
"Dear Granny, who will you call when a BUGLER breaks into your home

Then show clips of rampaging "protesters".

In the meantime, the mainstream media is not reporting the upswing

In the end - all of the leftist schemes backfire on the most
vulnerable.

Obamacare aka "Affordable Care Act" made health insurance much more
expensive because it guaranteed "care".
Obama put the squeeze on credit card companies with new regulations.
Credit card interest rates doubled.
Riots and arson for "justice" force businesses to leave poor
neighborhoods leaving people without jobs and access to food and
services.
High taxes put economic pressure on the middle class, causing
deflation, higher savings and less money in circulation. Less money
for programs for the poor.

"And the seasons they go round and round
And the painted ponies go up and dawn
We're captive on the carousel of time
We can't return we con only look behind
From where we came
And go round and round and round
In the circle game." ~ Joni Mitchell

#49 I was thinking about how they announced "lockdown 2.0" back in
April (non-stop talk about "the second wave") this morning.

As I've said, I'm not a denier but I will acknowledge that they are
tweaking the numbers for control. The media propaganda hypes new
scares daily. "OMG PIG VIRUS", "A NEW STRAIN", "Now kids are dying
with a rare unknown mutation", "It now travels from animals to
people". Every day I hear this stuff, even on business news.

In the beginning, Italy was directed by the WHO to put young healthy
people with covid in nursing homes. Their death numbers went
bonkers. Experiment worked. Then in the States, blue states followed
suit. Super high death toll. Murdering the elderly to achieve a
goal. Fear. Death. Validity.

Then the CDC guidelines said to count "probable" infections. It was
reasoned that for every 1 positive blood test, 15 must have had
contact. 16:1. This is on record, not a theory. The United States
now has the highest rate of infections. Once the nursing home death
panel was revealed, the practice of putting covid in with elderly
receded, as did the death toll. Now, the number of dead is out of
sync with the number of infected, causing widespread doubt.

I believe they can turn the numbers on and off at will. This is
about control. It always has been. The lockdowns were ending and we
got a nice Marxist rebellion to distract. Then, suddenly the numbers
were higher than ever. Lockdown 2.0. States are already pulling back
and now doubling down with mask fines. Taking something real and
leveraging it for power and control. Maybe the gubment gods will
shake the money tree and give us $1000 stimulus checks so we can buy
more Air Jordans and iPhones?

You are right - the virus isn't getting the job done. They are
obviously upset that the economy isn't scaling back as fast as they
wanted. There's only so much that race/gender/political division can
do for aspiring communists. So, war. Sure.

I was wondering (still am) if Covid will vanish once they steal the
election with mail-in ballots. It only makes sense that it bridges
to the next war when Biden takes the chair as Puppet in Chief. The
days of W are here again, which I presume means greater recession,
war, joblessness, raped 401ks, etc. Then they can say, "see, we told
you America was never great!"

Side note: will anyone point out to the bernie basement dwellers
that it's not a cultural revolution if corporate america is
financing it and literally the entire system is backing their
motives and ideas?

The thing that nags me: how do I position myself now and prepare for
another great recession/war. Having gone through this, my thoughts
are that:

1. I'm too old for this sh*t.
2. Be prepared to move where the work is.
3. Make sure you owe nothing going into the storm.
4. Make sure you and your family have everything they need before
any income insecurity takes place. How are the appliances, cars,
etc?
5. Evaluate the job markets: what's going to be needed. What are the
trends.
6. Get your resume up to date.
7. Follow financial markets and keep your eye on the 401k.
8. Don't be stupid and buy any cars or upgrade the house.
9. Reflect on the past and be mindful of opportunities and threats
that come with a greater recession.
10. Stock up on your favorite toilet paper before they roll out
Lockdown 2.0. ;)
11. Wait for the next 911 false flag that gets us into the next war.
Next spring should be interesting (shortly after Biden is sworn in).
12. Use this time to do constructive things like clean out the
garage, fix things in the yard/house, repair cars and do
preventative maintenance.

BOHICA: Bend over, here it comes again.
