I'd recommend Arthroscopic surgery first before you even think silly thoughts
like knee replacement.. most of even the newer knees will last you no longer
that 7-9 years... and with arthroscopic, you save most of your knee as I have
thus far.. :)

I drove to Marquette only to find out they'd cancelled the trial and FORGOT
TO TELL ME. So, four days with my ex-boyfriend who didn't pay me for hotel
or gas, a miserable time, no goodbye to Mike before he went to prison for 3-15
years, car's brakes are dead, I'm tired, exhausted, upset, nauseous, and just
found out my favorite uncle needs a heart transplant or he'll die soon.
I'm not happy.

(oh, geez. I could have told you the trial was cancelled. [they forgot
to tell news outlets too, FWIW.])
(hope you feel better.)

I failed to mention my sister was in a car accident where the
lasting effect was a weaker knee.

Before anyone suggest anything else, I want to get the X-rays first. This
maybe taken care of with simple physical therapy, or maybe not. Now, quit
driving me insane with these suggestion unless your a doctor and you have
actually done the examination.
I am extremely grumpy.

My problems seem rather trivial after reading the above, but I'm still
bummed that I'm really really tired (though I can't say I regret my
reasons for staying awake too much) and The Guy is going out of town
for a month, maybe longer, and I'm really going to miss him <sighs> I
know... like I said, trivial compared to the above.

Sarah- sorry the mess isn't all picked up, I've been busy the past few
days. I'll work on it tonight.
Richard- if it was the Leprechaun leaving town I would have phrased it
that way. 'That Guy' refers to someone else.
<hugs Jenn> Thanks. <grins>

Ohhh dear. Mono=hell.
Rest, rest, rest and more rest. Talk to your professors and plead for
leniency. (Speaking from a teacher's perspective, any mono-infested
student of mine would get all the time they need).

(Come down here Carson, I'll breathe on you. :)
The only class I'm worried about right now is Taekwondo, mainly cause
it involves physical activity (which they warned me not to do, cause
apparently your liver and spleen can get big and rupture). I've been
very sloth like this week which is bad cause I have a microeconomics
test tomarrow morning. And I still have a chapter to read and studying
to do.

Re #252: If your mom can hold out for a while, Bees, her
prospects are going to be pretty good. The BBC reported recently
that there appears to be a cure for another autoimmune disease,
rheumatoid arthritis. Given the leaps in immunology in the last
ten years, a cure for most autoimmune diseases seems like it should
not be far off.

circumstances. It really does suck, though. =(

My dad has been re-admitted to the UM to control what appears to be some sort
of infection. He might be in there for a couple of days. The start of chemo
has been a bit rocky.
