Navid, your under a different heading now. type q to get to an ok: then
type b enter to see the headings. type r and the heading #, type q for the
respond line, then type 98 and hit enter. good luck and it gets easier!

It's not just india. We seem to have a lot of Eastern European users,
too. It's mid to late afternoon, or early evening there. Grex gets a
pretty good global 24 hour-a-day workout.
Weekends used to be the only time that the load really dropped. Nowadays
even the weekends are seeing significant load, though still nowhere near
what we get during the week.

I was using Backtalk yesterday to read new response items in Agora. About
half the time the supposedly new items showed 0 new responses.

(There's probably a new System Problems item in Agora that no one's bothered
to link into Helpers yet, right?)
Grace reports that Grex hung on her yesterday. She read some conference
items, ran elm, and went to email someone. It took her into vi as usual.
She got into append mode, & it stopped responding. She finally disconnected.
She says that there was maybe a 5-minute interruption (on her end) somewhere
in this before it hung. The session was still visible when I looked at the
screen last night; I can attest that there was nothing like a timeout warning
or anything like that.

The "y" command in pine, for printing to local printer, has stopped working
somewhere. I get a dialog saying the message is being scrolled for printing,
but then nothing happens (and no local error dialogues appear).

Rane, you probably should post this in the *current* system-problems item.

Yeah....I wondered why I got no responses and looked in Item 3 in the
current agora and didn't even find my question.....thought I was losing my
marbles. But, as it turns out, the problem was in my computer and not on
Grex and I solved it by rebooting (not that I know what exactly caused the
problem...after I rebooted all my attempts to print came pouring out of
the printer).
