Not sure that's tod's answer, but it's certainly one answer.

re #24
I don't. It's not my responsibility nor am I convinced grex considers it a
big enough problem. I don't recall seeing folks harping on the grex board
to act.

Regarding #22; (Way, WAY too little ability to detect humor.) (Way too much
criticality.)

Actually, #26 was partially right except I was just going to drive down and
help him find gainful employment so he wouldn't be bothered to entertain
himself anymore.

re #23/32: think lawsuits, and vultures dropping down to feed on the
carcass of your home. Kicking anyones ass is a bad idea, so forget it!
Look Chad is all right and goes about his normal business, grumbling,
mumbling, muttering and spitting. It's when he gets into arguments, on
party, or in coop, that he flares up and really disses Agora (i checked
against party). Anyway.. either lock down the BBS or go learn some Yoga
and deep breathing <g>

That's quite surprising, given how common the name is and the fact
that I haven't done anything publicly notable.
I guess all the rest must go by "Michael"..

(It's probably moot, now, but I don't think volunteering for staff should
qualify one for the Board of Directors. It's sometimes useful to have
Directors who are also staff, and vice versa, but neither is really necessary
for the other.)

Chuck is a moron. This idiot spent 6 weeks working on some anti-flood script.
It took me 6 seconds to bypass it. The moron boy chuck just said that I never
really bypassed his script, I just changed my method of attack. For the
record, it was the same fucking attack.
I'm not god gift to Unix. Most of the abuses I carry out are based on how I
observe the system. I observe what goes on, and then use my limited techical
abilities to cause grief. The method is the same fucking method I used when
I used to work as a Mechanical Engineer. You observe what goes on and then
go "Well even though I don't know the internal mechanics, I do know that you
have to take such and such steps to get from point A to point B. If I modify
one of the steps, then I shouldn't be able to get from point A to point B."
Usually I achieve my end results. Sometimes I don't. If I don't, it usually
means that I had some kind of misconceptions to begin with.
Where is this going? I'm really not that sure. And how does it relate to
anything? I have no fucking idea.

Pretty Bright (Ie I would still listen to): mcnally, krj, naftee, steve
Average (Ie not dumb): lar, gelinas, trig (when he is not stoned)

Nate, unlike you, I can actually abuse Grex. Unlike you, I managed to get
through both k&r and APUE by the late Dr Stevens. So just shut the fuck up
and go back to figuring out the differences
method vs function
function parameter vs function argument
if if vs if else vs ||
pointer vs reference

as in i have read things like
in
int sum(int a , int b); , a and b are parameters but in
sum(5,6) 5 and 6 are the arguments passed to sum ?
is that it ? or there is more

Sholmes, you fucking stupid shit nigger. Are you having a Chuck Martin moment?
Let me try to break this down for you fucking nigger ass.
say I have a c function like
p = (char *)malloc(x + 1);
Now say we x is 5.
5 would get passed to (char *)malloc(x + 1)
in malloc, we have the expression x + 1. x + 1 would be the formal parameters
in this case. When we have x = 5, this becomes 6. This means x + 1 would get
evaluated to 6 and passed to malloc. 6 in this case would be the actual
function argument. This idea is similar when you evaluate functions in
Algebra. The only difference is that CS and Math have different meanings for
the word "function definition."
I'm sure the no life unix dork called cross could fill in the rest.
