IHB it's getting just cool enough in the mornings to be good
sweat-suit-lounging weather.

IHB it's cold outside!!!
IAHB my nice friend put my glasses on his charge card so I can see. (He's
getting paid back next paycheck...this was an emergency since mine got
smashed).
IAHB another nice friend treated me and two other friends to dinner at
Outback. Wow.

Oh...my glasses got smashed...not my credit card or paycheck...

Cold cloudy day. Yippity! Got my stuff done even though I grossly
overslept.

I'm happy because my friend who had to cancel at the last minute (and I mean,
just before they were to leave on Friday) coming to my house is coming today.
I managed to bribe the day-off from work roommate to go get her. So she gets
to stay for the week, and I'm happy.

Also, I managed to get the living room relativly clean. It'll take more to
make it to MY liking, but it is a good start when you can see
that...Umm...starts with a "c" or an "f".... that stuff...

I recovered from perpetual clumsiness to have a decently passable day today.
And two football players caused a nice two-person commotion. I actually
managed to talk to one of them about their classes, which was pleasant.

Well, I was thinking carpeting rather than ceiling, but I'm sure if I look
up I can find something to clean up there too. Today? The kitchen.

Where exactly do you find guys like that?!?!?

IHB I got 9 hours of sleep last night, and I am starting to feel better.
Mainly because I realised that I will be working at least 5 to 8 hours of
overtime till the end of October... which helps.

IAHB I got great news about my brother's Ph.D.
Yay!

I like how birdy capitalized "Certain Guy" in resp. #36. ;)

IHB because I have the day off work again today. Don't know what I'll be doing
all day but it is better than work.

I tend to capitalize Very Important Nouns. ;-) It got that from Kae (otter)
since she tends to say things like "This is a Good Thing" or "What happened was
Very Cool." I dig it.

Jenn - they're in the U.P.

Yes, but will they come out of the UP? Or are they too drunk to stand right
now? ;)

IHB- I had a nice relaxing evening last night, cross-stitched more of
my mom's Christmas present, watched a movie *and* then got to spend
time with That Guy.

(advice- don't teach your girlfriend wrist releases if you also have
need to protect yourself from being tickled...)
birdy
response 44 of 889: Mark Unseen   Sep 26 21:12 UTC 2000

Ooh...wrist releases... I learned those by myself since Joe used to try to
pin and tickle me. =)

Jenn - not all Yoopers are drunk. Some of them are children. ;-)

IHB I got my laundry done and my room cleaned up. Not my favorite thing
to do, but something that drastically needed to be done.

(I met with the Records Office and convinced them to post half of my
summer grades so that I can have my financial aid released. I might
actually have money by the end of the week.)

Working on an adorable cross-stitch pattern for my friend's baby. The baby
is due November 6th, so I *should* have it done in time. My excuse if it's
late is that I have to add the name and birth date to it. ;-)
