Mary - It's just going to take a while to get your calves back in shape again.
Anne has this problem when she wear flats on the weekend after being in heels
all week. Give yourself a few days to get used to them. Heels are also
notorious for causing pain if they don't fit right and you don't have good
standing posture.
Greg - that sucks! I'm sorry. =(

very sorry greg. what cd's were they? maybe those of us that have CD burners
might help you get some of them back.
Sarah, it didn't help that I ran nearly barefoot for 6 months on unemployment.
I think I just need to all around get back in shape. Might try some of the
free stuff here at work, meet some new people too. Although that idea (if
I get money) of doing some martial art thing would be good too.
I was bummin because they are having a leather sale today at work, to benefit
part of the hospital, and I found a coat that not only fit, but looked good
and had a zip out liner so it can be worn summer and winter weight. I didn't
have enough to pay rent and get the coat and have money for 2 weeks, but I
found a generous benefactor (mom) and I'm going to work it off for her by
doing simple filing and organizing for her. So now I'm happy!

Bummed because I hate Mondays and because my tummy is reacting badly to
something I ate.

(I've found that simply alternating the types of shoes I wear helps
avoid aching bits. <grins> So while I wear heeled shoes at work, I wear
flats at home, or go barefoot)

I just failed a history test. It was one essay. I hate that class. A

Last night I was chatting with my b/f, and he was rather unhappy because he's
made some mistakes that he thinks are unsurvivable. That really bummed me,
cuz I love him, and hate for anyone I love to feel like that.

(roommate brought two *more* Big Boxes Of Crap from home with him.
he can't seem to figure out that between his shit, my shit, and his
fiancee's shit, there isn't enough room in the apartment for all of
it. I *thought* the fact that he still has a cooler, five boxes, and
two 386s piled up in front of the answering machine such that we have
to reach *around* the fucking microwave to play back messages would
have been a fucking *clue*.)
(I'll pribly have it out with him tonight, and then *I'll* feel better.)

<growl> I was promised my glasses by Tuesday. I called Tuesday and they said
they'd received the work order and would have them done by late afternoon.
They didn't get them done, so I called today. Oops! They scratched one of
the lenses this morning, so they have to re-do them. I have to call tomorrow
around noon to see if they're ready. If they aren't on my face tomorrow I'm
going to be *pissed*. If I don't have them until Friday I will be beyond that
(I have to drive up north Friday and can't without them).

I've always gotten my glasses from Lens Crafters in Briarwood. It's been a
few years since the last time, but they never had any trouble getting them
done in an hour.

I have an accounting group project due friday. I email the rest of my
group members Sunday evening for us to get together and work on it. Do
I hear from any of them? No.
Lesson? Change your major out of one where the rest of the students in
your class are Greek, Stoned, Preppy's.
I hate group projects. I hate people. (No offense to the few people
that are here. ;)

Well, the Briarwood store has the one-hour, but I went to a branch of this
store since it's a couple blocks from me. Feh. =)

He: Do you know what people are good for?
She: No, what are people good for?
He: Blast. I was hoping you could tell me.
[much later]
He: Hey! I figured ou what people are good for!
She: What are people good for?
He: Compost!

I will have to get glasses for reading and night driving. Yes, I did
have the laser eye surgery. Hmph. Well it beats being dependent on them
24-7 like I was before. I don't regret having the surgery.
But I DO regret being horribly disorganized, in throes of writer's
block when I am trying to get this thesis cranked up, constantly two
steps behind. The stomach pains and exhaustion that plagued me in the
spring semester has returned. This is Not Good.

they've told me. Siiiigh.)

I used to need them just for driving at night, but now I need them all the
time. Siiiiiigh. ;-) No big deal, though. I like being able to see, and I
don't look bad in them. They've discovered an astigmatism, though, so if I
want contacts I have to shell out the big bucks. No problem...I'm happy with
glasses. ;-)

I'll help you grade stuff! =) Yoga classes are good. I've never tried them,
but they have a high success rate amongst my friends.
