joined). I live in Ypsilanti. I watch lots of anime.

i'm overwhelmed with disappointment. not only is grex a place where the staff
invades the personal files of users actively contributing to the bulletin,
it utilizes a poet as dippy as CARL SANDBURG as an epigram.

I'm Sindi (used to be Cindy until the Serbs showed me how to spell it
correctly during my year in Belgrade). I work as a science translator (Slavic
languages) and in my spare time am building a house and playing with old
computer equipment and software other than Windows. I type for Jim
(jdeigert). We practice a low-consumption lifestyle (unless you count all
the rescued and maybe fixable junk) with vegan cookery, fruit trees (pawpaws),
biking as transportation, lots of insulation. Jim can fix many things - ask
him about your problems in the DIY conference.

Re 34: Grex staff only looks at users who attack the system or otherwise
cause technical problems... which was the case lelande is pretending to be
outraged about.

I thought #34 was a reference to the birthday announcements in the message
of the day (MOTD). But then, most of us probably remember being asked about
it by newuser.

Wyrefall, turn off "local echo" in your telnet program; that will make the
extra character disappear.

Ahh, you wanna know who I am. I am jenn (two n's, thankyouverymuch) I hang
out alot with anne, sarah, silvia, meg and the other chicks....(you know who
you are). I work, a lot, at Kitchen port and UMI. One day I will go back
to school, live the impoverished life once again and get a degree in Medical
illustration. I detest grammar, and the world is ran by mice.

Okay, so since I've been mentioned do I really need to introduce
myself? <grins>

I'm Anne, I'm 25 and live with the birdy and three (well four counting
the temporary houseguest) cats. Ummm, I've been on Grex as of January
1994, I currently live in the Ann Arbor area working as an
administrative assistant for an insane leprechaun. I really really
dislike my job, so if anyone knows anyone who is hiring administrative
assistants, please let me know.

I'm Craig Ludwiczak. Previous logins have been general and xanthus. I'm 22.
I've been on grex since November 1994. I work at the Alpena K-mart as a
check-out operator/Layaway associate. More of my hours are spent in the
latter. I do not have the mentallity to survive in retail so I"m currently
looking for other work. Other than that my life is pretty boring.
