I don't know if this counts as "on stage" or not, but my piano
playing can be heard on a new interactive CD-ROM from Archive
Impact called "American Scrapbook: Detroit Memories, Volume 1".
It's a retrospective of Detroit from the the turn of the
century to World War II, told in words, photographs, and
music. I perform "Ragtime Oriole" and "Princess Rag", both by
James Scott. Another featured performer on the CD is ragtime
pianist and historian Nan Bostick.

Re #29: The preview worked for me. I had to reboot Windows after
installing shockwave to get it to, thought.

Tonight I will sing 3 or 4 songs with Matt Watroba, Neil Woodward, and
Gary Weisenberg in their concert at the Plymouth Arts Council. The PAC
is located on Sheldon Rd, 2 blocks south of M-14, at the corner of Junction
Street. We did the same last night, but I forgot to anounce it. The PAC
is only a 15 minute drive from the north side of Ann Arbor. Tix available
at the door.

Latest info on the Holiday Ragtime Bash:

        Date/time: Sunday, Dec 9, 7:30pm
        Place: First Unitarian Universalist Church,
4001 Ann Arbor Saline Road, Lodi Twp.
Tickets: $15 regular admission, $12 student & seniors.
Advance tickets at Nicola's Books in Westgate
Shopping Center, or after Sunday's service.
Or you can purchase tickets at the door.

Performers include William Bolcom, Joan Morris, Mike Montgomery,
Bob Seely, Terry Parish, Kerry Price, and yours truly, among others.
The first half is a "survey" of the ragtime era, featuring works by major
composers such as Scott Joplin, Joe Lamb, James Scott, Charlie Johnson,
Artie Matthews, and Jelly Roll Morton. I'll be playing "Pearl of the
Harem" (1901) by Detroit composer Harry Guy. The second half will be
more free-form; I may be performing in it as well.

I suggest getting advance tickets or arriving early (like, 6:45).
I believe it's not reserved seating, so you might want to arrive early
even if you do get advance tickets. This is a very popular annual
event and always sells out.

Tomorrow night (Sat Dec 8) I will sing 3 songs at Trinity House Theatre's
"Christmas Around The House" benefit show. I will begin the second set, and
will be accompanied by The Usual Suspects. I will do two Melanie Christmas
songs (Christmas Lullaby" and "Tonight's The Kind of Night") and the
traditional" Cherry Tree Carol."

Fleming-Tamulevich agency called me today to ask me to perform at the Ark
on Feb 1, and I said yes. When asked what compensation I require, I replied,
"Just give me one of those big honkin' chocolate cookies." This show will
be a triple bill with Robbie Schaefer (of Eddie From Ohio) and Seth Barnard.
I will be accompanied by Mike Fedel on guitar.

Trinity House Theatre is located on Six Mile Rd in Livonia, at I-275. Just
20 minutes from downtown Ann Arbor. The show begins at 8pm. The Ark is
located in downtown Ann Arbor, just 20 minutes from Trinity House Theater. ;-)

From time to time it's useful not to sell yourself. Helps you remember that
you're in it for the fun.
