Backtalk Crash!

Tue Mar 7 06:23:59 2023

Oops! The authors of Backtalk are deeply sorry to confess that our program has failed to operate correctly. This is due to an error in Backtalk itself, or in one of Backtalk's script files, or in the configuration of the system. It is probably not due to anything you might have done. The page below contains an error message and a detailed dump of the state Backtalk was in when the error occurred. This may be useful to anyone trying to fix the problem.

All this information has been logged, but it may still be helpful for you to report this error and the circumstances under which it occurred to the system administrators.

Thanks for your assistance in getting the bugs out of this conferencing system. We sincerely and humbly beg your forgiveness.

However clotting factors do\nnot depend upon the climate. \n\nHowever I do have to modify my statement in #232: blood plasma does have\na higher viscosity at lower temperatures, so the viscosity \(thickness\)\nin the capillaries near the surface is increased if the dermis is\ncolder. This, of course depends upon what clothing is being worn. But\ncapillary circulation is reduced by lower capillary bed temperature.\n</PRE>\n)

(<PRE>Not until the clotting process is initiated. If you have any free \(not at\nan injury\) clotting in your normal situation, you will be lucky not to be\na goner. So &quot;thin&quot; and &quot;thick&quot; blood from a clotting standpoint, are\nidentically &quot;thin&quot; or &quot;thick&quot; from a flow standpoint. Clotting is\ninitiated by several factors, one of which is simple injury to the wall of\na blood vessel. Released cell proteins start a cascade of over 10\nreactions that finally involve platelets \(aggregate in the concrete\),\nfibrin \(reinforcing rods\) and collagen \(the cement\). \(There is a separate\nsystem of reactions that stop clotting and dissolve clots, so things can\nreturn to normal as the injury heals - some fibrinolytic drugs are used to\ndissolve clots that get free in the bloodstream and cause heart attacks.\) \n\nBut until all this happens, the blood flows the same whether &quot;thin&quot; or\n&quot;thick&quot; from a clotting standpoint.\n</PRE>\n)
