resp:1 - I could provide you some links, if you need confirmation of
said event. There are also doctors that would be able to discuss the
process, or at least direct you to a specialist.

Communicating with a community. Using fast and efficient email (non-gui).
Browsing at 20K/sec over a dialup line. Learning BSD.

re #6
I come here to touch base with industry folks. I also get a few laughs.

I've been able to obtain answers to a lot of questions and in that regard I
hope I have in turn contributed some useful answers. It is also a source
of entertainment, even in argumentation.

Re #0:

If you know even a minimal amount about how to make your way around Grex, put
your helper flag up (mesg -h y) so that those new to Grex can "write help"
to use your expertise.

Re#12 Yeah, I do that. Get a regular number of help requests but
most are pretty straightforward to resolve. The biggest challenge
is quickly teaching the "o" protocol for "write", so they don't
keep typing over what ever you are saying.

I think I've gotten two "how do I/can I set up a bot here" requests recently,
but one was a "how do I get into a shell" from the menu and another was
something else of that nature. I seem to get the people who know what they're
doing but don't know how to get to where they can do it.

And re #14 -- you're the only other helper *I* ever see.

("j helpers" for the conference for helpers!)

I used to use Grex primarily for email. Now I use it mostly for
socializing in Backtalk, though it still makes a handy email address
that's unlikely to change. I now forward my mail to another account,
though, because I find it more convenient to read with an IMAP client.

using grex for email prevents all viruses from getting onto my machine.

that is the *best* reason for grex email, while it lasted.
