Well, you never know how far away the patron on the other side of the
wall you're rubbing your bare bottom up against might be...

An excellent point, although it could be argued that in such a case, the wall
was considered "clothing".

Apparently, the Pittsburgh Penguins have been having those typical meetings
of a near-contender in any sport. "What can we add to our team to put it over
the top? Who can we put on the ice?" The owner, no less than one Mario
Lemieux, is apparently ready to do it himself.

I know!! This is why I logged in - I want to shout it from the rooftops!!
I mean, I think Jagr is a pain in the ass and dont' get me started on Matthew
Barnaby - but Lemieux is the business.

Aargh...our performance time has been bumped up to two p.m. with an estimated
ending time of three-thirty p.m. We'll be in the Engineering Arch, but we
may wander over to Nichols (Nickels?) Arcade.

CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENT: 28th Annual Ragtime Bash is this Sunday,
December 10, 7:30 pm, at the First Unitarian Universalist Church,
4001 Ann Arbor-Saline Road. Great lineup this year: boogie
pianists Mark "Mr. B" Braun and Bob Seely; ragtime pianists
Bob Milne and Mike Montgomery; singer-pianist Kerry Price;
jazz pianist James Dapogny with vocalist Susan Chastain.
I've heard them all before and they're all great.
Tickets are $15 at the door; seniors & students, $10. Seating
is first-come-first-served, and it's always a sellout, so
ARRIVE EARLY -- 45 minutes to an hour in advance for best
seats.

IWLTA that on June 24, 2001 I will become Mrs. Leonard B. Weiss. Len, my

Re #193: Well, in amateur radio slang, a "LID" is someone who's a poor or
malicious operator, but that's probably not what was meant in this case. ;>
