I'm happy because Manami is finally over her first cold and rejoined
her "Kodomo Swim" (children's swim) class today. She inhaled her
lunch upon returning home then promptly fell asleep.
I suppose the return to normal exercise routine will bring an end
to the late night performances we've enjoyed this week. Last night
she did an especially interesting interpretive dance to the music
of the Cranberries "No Need to Argue"

Happiness is hopefully getting an internship at a VA hospital in one of the
following areas: Omaha, NE, Phoenix, AZ, White River Junction, VT, St. Louis
MO, Cleveland, OH, Cincinnati, OH, Seattle, WA, Dublin, GA, Minneapolis, MN,
or Birmingham, AL... I have preferences but I am not saying which.

re #154 well lets see, cleveland's a dump, cincinatti's in an economic slump,
minneapolis is WAY too cold in the winter, dublin, ga is a hole (yes I've
actually been there) Seattle is the one, Seattle is cool. Insist on Seattle!
That way you could attend Seahawks and Supersonics games :)

also birmingham might be nice, the weather's nice there and its a growing
area, with lots of high tech jobs moving in. Seattle is best choice,
Birmingham second...

Seattle probably has the highest cost of living of any of those places;
not sure whether that's a factor or it gets included in the pay. Obviously
I'm partial to it.

Of the choices I'd probably favor Vermont, Seattle, or Minneapolis, but I
wish you success in any of them, should you land the internship..

I am hoping for Seattle, not for the location (though it would rock!) but due
to the chief of the medical records department. I have heard some totally
awesome things about here. I am willing to move anywhere there is a job. In
an ideal world, it would be AA, but there is a very limited number of
hospitals, and the economics at this time are not so good. Plus I am sure
there would be some dear friends who do stop in the Seattle area if I do go
there.. or MN, or St. Louis.
I don't know what I would do in Nebraska... is there anything in Nebraska?

IHB- It's almost the weekend, the hubby does NOT have to work a 16 hour
shift today, and we'll be in Ypsi tomorrow for gaming. Also, that the
annual Feb cat show in Lansing will include cat agility! :)
