An interesting "scene": On a "suped up" Chevy pickup, high suspension, over
sized tires, dual stack exhaust: One big Conferderate flag on the back of
the cab, two smaller ones at either end of the back bumber, those with the
caption "Fear this". A bumper sticker: "A man and his truck / It's a
wonderful thing". There was some other stuff, I think, but overall, it was
"outlandish". :-)

resp 142: obviously compensating for an inadequacy.
I actually bought a bumper sticker yesterday. This almost never happens,
but I had to have it for my cubie. It says, "got brains?".

Is the phrase "suped up" or "souped up"? I'd assumed the latter, but I dunno.

Light turned green. Started to go, had to stop as someone ran the red in the
other direction, sped across three lanes of traffic in the process of a left
turn, then slammed on his brakes to get into a driveway. His bumper sticker?
"Courtesy is contagious."

I have assumed that "suped up" derived from making something "super" (better).

Yeah, that makes more sense than "souped up"... I just don't know what the
original was. =}

Boy, you people must do a LOT of driving ! Actually, a lot of these vanity
plates are perfect for WinNT passwords. I have to write a little document
a work because we are upgrading our password rules. I'm gonna include a lot
of these license plates in it: O2BEINAA, GOT2BEME, BYBY4NOW, PER4MER....stuff
like that. Thanx a bunch.

I saw MAIZGRL today.
I also saw a UM college plate today. I've thought about getting one, but
Cindy won't put it on her van, because she didn't attend UM, and I want a
Tech plate for my car. And if I did do this, I'd want to personalise it,
too, but the college plates don't have enough characters for anything
I'd want to do. So I guess I'll stick to the blue plate I've used for
the past decade.
