what a great fundraising idea: auction off the right to set names of certain
grex system conventions, subject to certain limitations as determined
necessary.

Hmmmm.... I like that. I wonder if there's any reason staff can think of not
to do it.

Quick! Someone call Brother Maynard!
In light of this news, I would like to offer the staff of Grex use of
my internal 250M tape drive, which is just sitting around collecting dust.
If you cannot make use of it, I'll keep it in he closet until a good
use arises for it.

Does this mean we will have to come up with new things to complain
about?

Will this make e-mail and web access on grex as fast as on m-net? I am a
paying member of m-net in order to send larger files (over 10K) and access
websites in real time, and would rather donate the money to grex. There was
something about one little internet line donated by someone anonymous. Is
grexes line smaller than m-net's? Or more crowded for other reasons?

You type in ls -al which will list all your files, permissions, and
your group. I'm in people.

Yes. Dorian is getting a second T1, and our current address space is only
routable over the first one.

Looks like the change-over is on for tomorrow. Should be interesting. Not
only will be changing to faster hardware, we'll be changing to newer versions
of *lots* of software. Hope a lot of it works....
