Hello, I am Zetaphor, and I was wondering if there is a way that I can take
the script I write in Pico, and either execute them, or make them into some
format in which I can execute them with. Please email me: zetaphor@grex.org
Help will be greatly appreciatted

Let's say you've put the script in a file named "myscript". First make sure
it is executable:

        chmod u+x myscript

and then run it:

        ./myscript

Are you connecting via telnet, or via ssh? ssh doesn't set the MAIL
environment variable properly. My solution was to see what it was set
to under telnet, then hard-code that value into my .profile so it would
be set that way under ssh.
