The temptation to enter a response here just to scribble it and keep up the
pattern is overwhelming.

I dont know if I can discuss this here. I would love to be a member of grex.
But the problem is My visa expires by the end of july and I'm going back
to India. Can any of my friends use my login? Why I'm telling this is there
are times when some of our friends log as win95 from WA state. Nobody can
really recognize cuz the IP address starts 129.189. and also our friends we
excahnge our Id's and log here just for fun. if someone is talking to
win95 in party it maynot be me..it maybe lakman from ohio. nobody knows.
Even after I become member can we do like this?

actually andin fact, anyone with a password to an account (here or
anywhere else for that matter) can login totha account.
we'd apppreciate your memebership *muchly* in any case.

Well, the reason we collect validation information at all is so we have a
way to hold someone accountable if something nasty is done using the internet
privileges that membership gives you. (I guess there may be a few other
reasons, but that's the main one, I've always felt.) win95, we certainly
can't stop you from sharing your password with friends, but you should be
aware that if you become a member and someone using the win95 account does
something damaging using your internet privileges, we will hold you
accountable. Fair enough? Perhaps you would consider getting a membership
with another account, that isn't so public?

I dont know what you mean by internet privileges. We already have MSN at home
and we telnet GREX thru MSN. Is there any 800# to dial to GREX?

re 112
No grex 800 numbers, sorry..
There are many isps that offer 800 dialup service, but you pay a
premium for them and high per minute rates. I'd recommend just getting a
national ISP account (aol, msn, etc) and use their local dialups if you're
going to be travelling a lot.

For people with full internet capabilities already through their ISP
(such as MSN), there is little advantage to having the outgoing access
from Grex. So this feature is not a big incentive for you to become a
member. However, this doesn't really matter if you have sufficient
incentive to join so that you can help grex continue to grow and thrive.
