The query program will once again tell you the status of the auction.
Type "query open" to see a list of open items, "query buyer joe" to see a
list of all the things bought by user joe, and just "query" to see a list of
options.

why arent ther very many items being entered into the auction....?
i would have thought people would have seen this as a great way to get
rid of some stuff and help out grex at the same time also.....
im getting ready to enter a few more items myself...

I agree - I hope everyone will try to think of things they want to get rid
of that someone else might want, and send mail to aution@cyberspace.org
offering the item in the auction. Think hard!

There is no official end date - at some point, when things are winding down,
the auctioneers will declare a moratorium on new submissions. But not until
it looks like there's no longer enough active items to keep many people
coming back to the conference.
So, that's not much of an answer; I guess I should say, put things in as
soon as possible!

I didn't know I was trying to get rid of Jim. I certainly could have found
a use for him myself.

of Grex, Sindi!

It was more of a time-sharing arrangement. He did not get dismembered.

He is not banned from the conference, just from the auction: any bids he
offers will be ignored.

New conferences come about when someone enters an item in the coop
conference requesting them.
