Am I the only one who thinks that the 97-98 Michigan Hockey team needs to do
a lot of improving? They don't shoot the puck enough, they are out of
postition too much, and 2 times they allowed Michigan State players to walk
out from the corner, and score. I'll be the first one to say that some of
the 10 new freshmen are very promising, but some of the upperclassmen need
to step it up a notch. THis year, there is no Brendan Morrison to help, or
no John Madden to score timely shorthanded goals. Sean Ritchlin needs to stop
puck-hogging, Greg Crozier needs to work, and Chris Fox needs to stay in
position more.

Yeah, I see in the paper that U-M has started the season 3-2-1 or thereabouts.
Well, a) it's early in the season, and b) even Michigan ain't gonna have
national champions or contenders *every* season.

They are 1-2-0 The win against Minnesota didn't count, lost one to colgate,
won won vs. colgate, lost 1 to those spartan freaks.
