statement from slynne Mark Unseen   Dec 4 17:23 UTC 2003

Hi. I am running for Grex board. I am 35 years old and have been on
Grex for a really long time so I feel that I have a good idea of how
things are run around here. Mostly, I like Grex the way it is and
probably will not be pushing for any big changes. I believe that we
should look at ways to reduce costs rather than trying to increase
revenues (at least for right now).

I don t have a lot of experience to offer except for a short period
where I was on the Mnet board of directors. I do have a good amount of
time for the next year or so since I don t have a family and I don t
currently have any other volunteer obligations. If elected, I promise
to attend all meetings unless there is a valid reason not to go (e.g
illness). I will serve my entire term. I wont rock the boat. I am
the hey things are pretty cool around here candidate.

----------------------------------------------------------

I dont have access to telnet for a while so I dont know if there is a
way for me to get the above statement into the vote program via the web
interface. Can someone help me with that?

Just grex's kind of candidate :)

What is your position on the remote members on board? Is this
something you support and think can work? The reason I ask this is
because you say you've been on M-Net board. Of course I'm assuming
that you served on board at a time when there was a remote member. I'd
be interested to know how it worked out for you, and the board in
general.

(Re: campaign statement. There's no way to enter a statement via the
web interface. That might be a useful enhancement to the vote program,
for the future. For now, just let me know if you'd like to use your
statement in #0, or email me the statement that you'd like to use, and
I'll arrange for the vote program to display it. Bear in mind that the
statement should be at most 23 lines long, with each line at most 79
characters in length.)
