I remember when the Atari game called "Star Raiders" came out, and
the sensation it caused then. Impressive for its time, I'll say that.

There's an Atari hiding here in the basement somewhere, probably buried under
some old kitchen stuff we're never going to use and my mom refuses to sell.

Re #3: If it is an Atari 400 or 800, dig it up and I'll make you an offer.

I bought my Atari for $10. (And it came in it's original box, with all the
packing materials too!) :)

I have a cute little emulator to play all your favorite old games on your PC.
I've been brushing up on my Colleco Vision _Cosmic Avenger_. ;)

I still have my old Intellivision. There were some cool games for that
(including pitfall, and my favorite - micro surgeon)

I remember it, i got my Ataria on my 6th christmas, I played it and played
it, though, I never could figure anything out, i didn;t care, i still had
one, and no one else my age did. Then one day, we came home, I looked in
the living room where the ataria was, and the freggin' dog (and cat) ate
the cords!!!! i cried alot that day, and still, even now, my mom hasn't
bought me new ones.
Now, of course, i want the latest, the Ultra 64 (nintendo). Maybe
if she would have bought me the 20 dollar cords, she wouldn't have to pay
200 dollars this christmas!!!!

I still have an original nintendo somewhere. I won it in a sales contest
when I worked at Newman. I got totally hooked on Arkanoid, and have never
found another version that I liked as well (unfortunately, I had borrowed
it from someone and had to give it back, and it was so old I could never
find it for myself)

Anyone played the new Pitfall that was released for Genesis and SNES?
Activision "hid" the original 2600 Pitfall in the cart, the whole game.
Another question, am I the only one who has an Atari 5200 system? Anyone else
remember those?

Re #13: I've got the orginal Civilization, want a copy?

Valerie, the game CivNet can be played in single-user mode, and rule-wise
is very faithful to the original civilization. The only difference I can
recall is that you can meet with other civs you've previously run into on
demand, rather than needing to physically recontact that civ. I think
only a Windows version is available.

I've spent the last couple of years snooping through flea markets for old
Atari games (I've got a *mint* Atari 2600 in its original box). I'd give
my left arm to find the DUKES OF HAZZARD, TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, or the
JOURNEY: ESCAPE cartridges (yes--that's Journey as in the rock band!).

Anyone interested in ordering some old games might point their browsers to
http://www.atari2600.com -- a great site.
