Travelling to China in October Mark Unseen   Sep 3 14:24 UTC 1997

Travelling to CHina in October
I'll be travelling to china in October/november
I've set up reservations for trains/hotels/etc through a travel agent but will
be traveeling primarily on my own (I do have some friends in the area)
The main cities I'll be stopping at are: Beijing, Xian, Nanjing, Suzhou,
Guilin and Hong kong. If anyone has thoughts about what to see, what not to
see, what to avoid, and so forth I'd appreciate it. Obviously in Beijing I'll
be seeing the Great Wall, Forbidden city and in Xian the terracotta figures
and the Banpo Neolithic Village, but I'd be curious to hear what people
thought.

Thanks
Alan
