Hi everyone. I am from Austria and I am new here.
I am going to Florida in February. Can you tell me about the weather
in South Florida? Also can you tell me something about Naples?

Naples is a lovely, fairly upperclass city right on the gulf. It's
golf country, so bring some clubs if that's your game. The weather
was summery when I was there last February, but I'd bring a jacket
and slacks along just in case. I can't help with restaurants, etc.
since I was just passing through Naples -- we had stayed at Sanibel.

It can get pretty cold - I can recall down-jacket weather in the
Melbourne Beach area - though that's on the ocean side, and a bit
north.

Naples is quite far south and will most likely be rather warm, although
one can't be certain if it's February. I was in Sarasota, a bit north
of Naples, last February, and it was quite warm.

By going to Florida in February, you are anticipating the nicer weather
by about 6 weeks. It is often rainy. That far south though, it will be
very surprising to find nighttime temps below 50 (10C) and more likely
they'll be closer to 15C. If you are lucky and get sunny weather, it
can get very warm.
The Gulf side has no surf, so we usually visit the Atlantic side,
but the Gulf side is better for shells.
If you are a nature lover, go to the nearby Everglades. It is quite
unlike anything else you may have seen.

I've never been to Florida but if by chance you make it as far
north at North Carolina, do let me know!
