The fine art of remmers-watching...

Like looking for a remmers in a haystack.
Only more difficult.
Unless it was a very large haystack.
Or a very small remmers.

If the remmers are scurrying in and out of a haystack, they'd be much
easier to spot. It's if they were standing still that would make it
hard. And if they were the same color as the hay.

(Being a city boy, I don't do haystacks.)

if countries have hay, then what do cities have? <boggle>

Cities have kiosks. But let's get this item back on track. What
have *you* done today to help find guys on Grex?

Cities also have subways.
Find guys on grex? But they're in every conference I read, how can I *not*
find them?

Hence the expression "like looking for a needle in a subway".

Or looking for change on a bus.
remmers
response 13 of 16: Mark Unseen   Mar 1 14:53 UTC 1997

Indeed. The situations where I never have enough change are the
ones where exact change is required.

I ended up walking two miles to the train station once because I couldn't find
any dimes for the bus...

Couldn't you have panhandled?

What about looking for a subway in a haystack?
Most haystacks I know don't come equipped with subway service, making finding
one a much more difficult task.
Of course, if it was a particularly well-developed haystack, it might have
a subway of it's own.
