A helping hand, please?
|
Aug 23 07:52 UTC 1994 |
I can and do read the cards -- but folks, my life is in enough of a mess
right now that I'd dearly love for someone to throw the cards for me
and tell me what I am supposed to be learning from all this pain. And
when can I look forward to an better time.
(An astrology reading would be just as fine -- again, I don't trust
my judgement on these issues right now.)
Man this is one of those times when only my belief in re-incarnation keeps
me from being tempted to do anything rash. (What good would it do, to
end it all just to redo the lesson?? Not much comfort right now, but it
will be later, I'm sure.) In short, I'm *really* hurting.

Hang in there MT. Peace and blessings to you. It's times like this
that I hate the virtual community. What the hell can you do??!!
I'd suggest getting together with someone to do a reading, it can get a little
personal.

Misti.....how old are you? Give me your birthplace and birthtime and
birthdate and I will look it up. You are probably being hit
*really hard* by Uranus and Pluto which were doing some interesting
(read assinine) things this year.
I will ask my astrologer friend.

Come walking on Saturday? I'll bring cards and runes and stuff. Also hugs.
You've got a fairly good attitude, you know. We're here. The boys
will be fine. You'll survive. Call me if you need company. (phone is in my
.plan)

oh, dear, and I didn't even see it coming. What ever has become of me? Well,
for the next chapter in this little bodice-ripper...<g>
What ARE you going to wear? If I don't loan it to Dona, I think I'll wear
my "suede" patchwork skirt, a full blouse and vest, and do "peasant". Hm,
or maybe "gypsy", with a low-cut red blouse if I can find the chutzpah to
carry it off. How shall we find you, and at what time?

Noon...near the front gate..(outside or inside?) Probably
outside until 12:30 and then inside. I plan to wear
a pink skirt and blouse...that is very wenchy! Not true
garb..but close enough for me. I have very dark curly hair
and wear glasses and I am a *big* girl. grin

Arwen, you are an "SCA medium". About right.
Dang, you don't HAVE to dress up, but it is lots of fun.
Weather is supposed to be hot, maybe humid, but not rainy. No promises.

So, Misti, will you join us on Saturday at the walk (or after) and/or on
Sunday at the Renn Fest. We'd really like you to, and it would give us
a
a chance to offer what help we can, in person where there is more that one
can do.
How are you doing today, anyway? Hugs.

Yes, I'll be at the saturday walk and I'll be at the RennFest, too.
I'm a big woman, too, Arwen, and have long dark hair and glasses.
How will we tell ourselves apart???? ;) I know --I won't wear pink!
How am I doing? Well, it depends on when you ask. Sometimes I feel
almost fine. Sometimes I can hardly keep it together. When it gets too
bad, I find that alcohol makes a fine emotional anesthetic. Mostly,
though, I'm making myself have plans every day after work. It's tiring
e3specially since I can neither eat nor sleep well -- but then I only
face the night alone.
Work is a blessing. I'm too busy to worry about TJ, mourn the little one
that almost was, or wonder if I'll always be alone. (Yes, I know, I
need to be for a while. That doesn't mean I have to like it, or be reasonat 3
am. ) <wry grin>
Thanks eveyone.

Though I know that alcoholism is real, and can be a problem...
I think letting John BarleyCorn bring you a smile and a song in tough
times is no sin.
Keep smiling MT, if even wryly.
