I'm not sure what to make of all this; I have little or no foundation
in this tradition. But a couple of astrologers I have spoken with maintain
that when Uranus and Neptune, which represent the energies of liberation and
of spiritual calling respectively (gross oversimplication) leave Capricorn
(the sign of the long-term structure-oriented builder) and enter Aquarius
with its emphasis on the new and untrammeled dispersal of whatever energy
hits it, that there will be a profound change in what for lack of a better
term I'd call the collective unconscious. (credit to whichever psychologist
coined that term.) Of course, that's tropical astrologers. Siderealists
maintain that the tropical positionings are meaningless anyway, so who knows.
