Magickal/Psionic Awakenings of Cities Mark Unseen   Aug 16 21:55 UTC 1998

Okay . . . this is just something I had on my mind. During the previous
school year, around the beginning of spring, something weird started to happen
throughout the town of Winona. Everybody's Weird Shit-o-meter was about to
break - until Winona's emerging coven began to understand what was going on.
Appearantly, Winona is undergoing some form of Magickal/Psionic awakening it
affects everyone and everything in the city. For me, this awakening made me
look back to Michigan where I am presently living, and remember a tree by my
old High School that I've always felt some bond with (I used to sit under
during dances when I was bored), and I now know that there is a non-tree
presence within that tree. Winona's awakening is so strong, that it seems
to compel me to come back - and I have accepted Winona as my home.

Around the time things started getting really strange is when Winona's
emerging Coven began thinking about the world as a whole and pondered
performing the "Mom, we've been bad and we (the human species) need a
spanking" ritual. I can't describe all the things that went on, but I can
tell you that people have headaches that they can simply tell to go away and
they do, and my friend who is host to a Psionic Vampire had the women out
playing a bit too much. Anything else strange going on lately?

Strange stuff goes on all the time. But a headache doesn't necessarily mean
that other-worldly spirits are galloping about. Sometimes a headache is only
a headache.

True enough . . . but all the people I know from college, self included, feel
that something big is going on with the city's aura, if nothing else.
