Is this conference dead?

I'm going to be a real nuisance and enter a couple new items in this
conference to see if there's any life left in it. Should I bother?
While I'm at it, I might as well ask people who have this on their
cflist to pipe up so we can see who's actually around. I'll give you a
topic, too.... uhhh talk about what you like about sports. What's
good? Why do you follow them? What sort of things do you like to
see? Shoot away.

It's not dead. This conference doesn't get much play during the regular
hockey season, but once the playoffs start, things pick up.
I know I'm not the most attentive f-w, but I try.

Baseball season is coming up. That will bring quite a lot of activity,
since baseball is America's pastime. This weekend is the starting
point of spring training; pitchers and catchers reported for most teams.
Also, the NCAA basketball tournament is upon us, and while Michigan
isn't going to be participating, there are some Michigan State fans who
are really excited about the chance of the Spartans to go all the way
this year.
This conference has always had upswings and downswings. I'm among
those who are satisfied with the interest level here. Omni does a
mostly fine job, except that he completely fails to recognize that
hockey is a lesser sport. This is properly the Baseball Conference
(With Some Minor Space Given To The Lesser Sports Such as Paintball,
Badminton and Hockey).
I'm not likely to participate in response to someone coming along and
saying "This isn't entertaining enough, you people have to post more
because I'm getting bored". It's the wrong approach. I'm here for my
entertainment, not yours.
