Past: Gordie (my past doesn't go back any farther to pick anyone else :-) Present: Gotta be Stevie Y (sort of the Al Kaline of the Wings)

Past Gordie. Present - Konstantinov. He's my kind of defenseman.

Past, definitely Gordie. Present - it's hard to pick a favorite, but I'm going with Federov...I've never seen a guy able to twist so many defensemen in knots. McCarty is a close second. I think he proved with that goal in game 4 that he has become a complete NHL player. He's big, gritty, intimidating, an offensive threat, and a leader prepared to defend his teammate (e.i. the LeMieux fight.)
