Shamble is right... all it was, was a money maker.. It made tyson, very
rich (again) and I heard McNeely didn't get off too bad either... something
along the lines of $50,000? Hey, for that I'd get in the ring with tyson..
take a few hits fall down and stay down.

What did I say? 2 hits and it's over.
Tyson really has to stop fighting these bums and losers. There really
hasn't been a decent fight in so long it's not funny. I'd like to say
it reminds me of a certain Detroit boxer, but I vowed that I would never
besmirch his name by comparing him with a rapist and criminal.

McNeely actually recieved about $700 000 for the Tyson fight (a large portion
of that going to his trainer and uncle sam). One must remember that Don King
will promote McNeely's future fights. The match was stop in order to create
an uproar. Fact is that McNeely would of been knocked down a thrid time in
the round and the fight would have been stopped because the three knock-down
rule. MeNeely had fought only two boxers with winning records, which
explains his 36-1 record before meeting Tyson. King wants to create a 'great
white hope' story around McNeely in order to draw large crowds to McNeely's
future matchs, ending in "Rocky type" fight against some little known champ
who will be too much for McNeely to handle. Of course, the Irish lad will
defeat some bums and 'fall guys' before his timely demise.
