NFL draft 2001
|
Apr 21 19:29 UTC 2001 |
Today is the NFL draft. Currently they've just made pick #21; Nate
Clements from Ohio State went to Buffalo. Virginia Tech QB Michael Vick
went #1 to Atlanta as expected.
3 Michigan players have been picked so far; wide receiver David Terrell
#8 to Chicago; offensive guard Steve Hutchinson #17 to Seattle, and
offensive tackle Jeff Backus #18 to the Lions.
Backus is the highest pick from the state of Michigan I recall going to
the Lions.
Are you watching/did you watch the draft?
What do you think of the Lions picks in this draft? It seems to me
they've drafted offensive linemen in the 1st round for 3 or 4 years now.
They ought to be getting a pretty darned good offensive line together.
If you follow another NFL team, did your team do well this year?
