Welcome to Ann Arbor Space Society's Space Issues Conference Mark Unseen   Aug 28 18:12 UTC 1998

On behalf of the Ann Arbor Space Society we welcome all to our
discussion conference. We believe that discussion and debate of space
related issues will make for a better world and better lives for
everyone. The message of space exploration and development is a
message of hope. Please join us.

Space development and exploration covers a broad sweep of items
including business, social, environmental, communications, government,
law, politics, security, cultural, technology, and science issues.
What are the challenges of space development and exploration and how
will they be solved? This discussion is targeted at finding real ways
for space development and exploration to happen. That is the goal of
the Ann Arbor Space Society.

We support everyone's right to speak there minds but request that even
when the issue discussions are heated and contentious that you not use
or make slanderous, libelous, or blatantly obsene statements, or
directly insult individuals. Stating your point of view even if
strenuously expressed is welcome. Messages that go far beyond the pale
of these criteria will be reviewed for removal.
