Right-- it's under the Brunching Shuttlecocks page.

A friend of mine sent the link to me-- C.S. Friedman, if you know who
that author is (Coldfire Trilogy). It was funny because she is near
the top in her authorly pursuits, and yet she occupies other slots as
a gamer, as she is a Cammie.

She said someone was trying to get her to come to a convention and
that it was a really big thing.

All our local chapter says is beware the yiff. Someone in our group--
our ex-coordinator, in fact, typed it in, looking for info on other
gamer types. Rummaged around and searched the webring she found and
wound up at beastality.com. Had a good laugh with her hubby. They
still chuckle a bit about it, although I'm surprised he doesn't squirm
about it more. He's still a pretty conservative type.

I've heard about the "furry" thing, but never met someone who was
actually into it.

I really didn't want to respond to this item, but I do know what "yiff"
means. It's furry-ese for "fuck".

Well, i figure there are a lot more of use furries about, but few people will
admit to it openly. Anyway, just thought I would throw out a "different"
thread. ;)

Allright, since you've brought it up. What's a "furry" to you, and
what about it draws you to being one?

A furry is a dude or dudette that likes having sex with plush animals (giant
teddy bears and so on) and usually likes erotic roleplaying games where one
uses a furry character. Am not sure why it attracts me, but it does. Maybe I am
just a pervert.

I'd known about the - is there a word here for giving something human
animal characteristics - bit, it's a common thread from mythology to
cartoons. But I'd never heard about the giant teddy bear sex thing.
Apparently Greg and Oval have; I know I'll never look at one of those huge
plush prizes at Cedar Point the same way again.
