The crooked cop Mark Unseen   Jun 26 21:21 UTC 1994

(You're a police officer working in drug enforcement. During a bust, you
discover that one of your fellow officers is not only a heavy cocaine
user, but that he's also taking money from various drug dealers to look
the other way. He has a wife and two kids, with another on the way, and he
is their only source of income.)

(do you turn in this crooked cop?)

Hell yea...he put himself in that jepordy and now he deserves to spend the time

Yes I would, but most cops wouldnt. They have that loyalty thing.

(Depends. I think the first step would be to help him with his cocaine
addiction, as that would probably be the root of most of the problems. If
he seeks help for his habit, it would probably lead him to turn himself
in, which I think would be a better scenario.)

Wait, is he physically dependent? I would try to
get him off the drug until I believe there's no
way to do so without using force, then i'd turn
him in.

yes, I'd turn him in because he is propagating the problem he has been
hired to expurgate. It's a conflict of interest. I'd also try to convince
him to get help so he can get back on the force and back to business. The
issue is not turning him in, it' getting him over the addiction.

definitely turn him in, but anonymously so your spouse isn't widowed as a
result. Also, do it in a way to get the ones paying off the cop.

when I was pregnant the first time I had to fire someone whose wife was due
the same day asa me. I was up a lot of nights over that. But firing him was
sthe *right* thing to do, and I finally decided that not sleeping well as a
result just meant I was a nice human.

I'd pour any coke of his I could find into the gas tank of his cruiser. Then
I'd get "Big" Louie and the boys to lean on him.

This will sound cold, but I would shoot him, during a bust. That way,his family
recieves the insurance, and he would get a departmental funeral, and he would
be seen as a hero, instead of as a cancer.
