The Fire at the nieghbor's house.

Your neighbor's house is on fire. The Fire Dept has not arrived, and
the building is believed to be empty. Do you take pictures of the fire and
sell them to the paper, or do you refrain from taking pictures?
(you have already called the FD and the are enroute, BTW)

Hmm... I tend to be somewhat annoyed by people who stand there in an emergency
taking pictures when they could be doing something to help, but I don't think
I'd have a problem with it if there really were nothing the photographer could
do.

Definately take the picture, how long can it take, 3 seconds....then
get the hose and start hosing down MY roof so my house doesn't catch, or maybe
the neighbors on the other side for the same reason....

There's nothing wrong with profiting from a bad situation if you've
already done all that you can possibly do to help the bad situation.

Maybe your photos will help catch an arsonist.

Well...I don't know...I'm a pretty bad photographer and if I'm pretty close
to
my neighbours...I'd probably help out eith their kids or something rathr than
think of monetary gains
