Deep Space 9 canceled in Detroit?
|
Sep 25 22:25 UTC 1997 |
This week's issue of TV guide does not list Star Trek: Depp Space 9. Does
anyone know what the story is? If channel 50 in Detroit dropped the show
there will be some angry fans.

According to some Web-based tv listings ("Click TV"), 50 will be showing DS9
at 1 am Saturday. It also had next Thursday at 8pm, but not the week after.

It sounds like channel 50 is getting into some sports scheduling
conflicts. I know I heard that hockey season was revving up.

Does anyone know when the final episode of DS9 will be shown?
I am assuming that Paramount is still on its plan to shut the show
down with the conclusion of this season.

Which will be too bad. I have actually found the last several shows to
be interesting character and moral studies. Though I haven't been
watching this season much, since I still can't ever find the show when
I think it should be on.

Terry Farrell is leaving at the end of this season, but the rest of the
cast is in for one more year. This is official. Has been confirmed by
Paramount and the writing staff.

Hmm, obviously I have not been keeping up with the news.
Last I heard, Paramount said that a sixth season was not under consideration.
Thanks!

That's a shame that Terry Farrel is leaving, she is really good. I don't think
that Ezri Dax will be as good.. .
