This Saturday at 10PM, Channel 20 in Detroit will re-run the _Outer Limits_
episode "The Light Brigade". Watch it; it's the first space war video show
that I have ever seen that presents spacecraft and space combat correctly.

I usually watch Outer Limits on channel 20 if I'm home Saturday night. What
do you mean by correctly? What should I be looking for that's correct?

"Up" is toward the front of the ship, away from the engines. Moving throughout
the ship very much involves climbing up and down between decks, and weight
varies with how hard the ship is boosting. "Up" and "down" disappear
completely at one point in the show - when the engines are disabled.
And the budget for this can't be all that great. It's a one-time episode of
a commercial broadcast TV show, one that is under-advertised though usually
pretty good. There is now no excuse for Treknobabble.

This round of Outer Limits are getting their first run on
Showtime, without commercials, running 45 minutes. Probably helps
the budget that they get a first run on a cable movie channel.
But the better part it that Wesley Crusher saves the ship!
(Then we get the Outer Limits twist to the story).
