Hi. It's good to see the conferences other than Agora have not been forgotten.
Is there a way to automatically check a list of conferences for new posts and
responses, or do I have to remember and "join" each conference I want to
follow every time I log-in?

After you've joined them all then you can just type "n" at the Ok: prompt
and it will scan all the conferences (which you've joined) and take
you to the one with a new response or new item.
