Flyer Info Mark Unseen   Jun 6 17:40 UTC 1992

Anyone got any ideas about what information other than the telephone number
we ought to make a part of our flyers?

Supported baud rates and modem settings. 300/1200/2400, 7E1.
The word "member-run" might be nice too.

I agree, Valerie. The more different kinds of fliers we have out there, the
more different kinds of people we'll appeal to. The more the merrier, I say.
(well, with the exception of encouraging illegal or anti-social behavior.
Those folks'll find us anyway.)

Hmm... the flyer I whipped off today has GREX in big bold inch-high
letters at the top of the page. My hope is that it'll pique people's
interest. Now that I think about it, I do wish I'd emphasized the
fact that access is free a bit more.

There's 100 copies of them for the JCC.

I would be willing to pass out some fliers, on a casual basis.

We need a catchy slogan like, "The Most Fun You Can Have With Your Modem!"

(something like that...)

I'm already designing a tri-fold flyer with that as the slogan...I hope to
distribute them through computer stores of various kinds.

I heard it here first, but it was too good not to co-opt!

That was my hope--that something glossy that they can put in the sack
and lokk "generaous might appeal. (Also, have you been meeting with
the manager or just trying to deal with clerks?)

Well, I don't claim that dealing with the manager is a guarantee--but the
clerks don't have the authority to agree to hand out flyers. It's probably
worth a try...

Radio Shack in Briarwood seems to like Grex too. I gave them 10 or so.
