I grow tired of the more-or-less conversation.
Attempt to break the circle and it remains unbroken.
Tell the one who loves to play the victim to own up,
she feels victimized again.
Still, you are tied to her
(some things can never be severed)
and it streaches far enough,
reprieve for a little while
until the tether comes
and thus, a more-or-less hello
waits again, more or less, for goodbye.
