i am the fly of boredom, another 3 minute flat verse by me. Mark Unseen   Apr 18 05:17 UTC 2001

i am the fly of boredome.
i was called so by misreading a compliment by another person.
tho whom i write it matters not,
for the fly of boredom writes for everyone.

i write on a whim, i have no care,
give me 2 topics and i'll make them a poem.
i've worked many topics, as you have read,
and the fly of boredom works from his home.

bored am i as i write these things,
with chaos at my front porch full of nightmaric screams.
the fly i am who goes round and round the picnic table trash cans
and i land on the food left unwatched in your dreams.

i fly on the fly with my keyboard as my guide,
my fingers always screwing up my lettering so i have to go rewrite.
but i am not alone in this world anymore, for the fly, am i,
has found an audience with alot of wit.

i linger online in cyberspace travels,
i don't really know where this poem is really going. bear with me.
laughing as i type, i apologize to you for calling me the fly,
howevr bored am i, and boring shall i be.

but alas, tomorrow night, i may have something better for you to read.
anyone with 2 topics, just drop me a line.
i shall write a poem about them.
for the fly of boredom, who writes on his boredom, and on the fly, will
dine.

"i fly on the fly with my keyboard as my guide,"

I kinda dig this line, reminds me of old school Beck

Yeah, I could see that. Also the business with the trash cans, although Beck
seems to have lost his fixation with garbage can imagery.
