untitled by someone else. Mark Unseen   Feb 5 03:04 UTC 1999

err... I'm re-posting this from another item, where it was,
(I think) misplaced. I felt that it would gain more attention in it's own
spot...

 just a musing
 love does not command
 love does not demand
 it frees your mind
does not keep you in a bind
 for binds bring sorrow
and everything is gone by tomorrow
 and then there is pain
and we see that everything was in vain
 love is not pleasure
 love is not sorrow
 love is no toy
 for love is sheer joy

(penned this down a few days back....and found this poetry room here so just
thought would put it here )

There. Now then-- This is really nice! I like the effective use of rhyme
to get the idea across. It lends it a deft, light feel. Very nice, and I
hope to see more from you.

Welcome to Poetry!

we ride this boat
with image and fear as our coat
when shall we see
that love, is simply to be
with our past
as our mast
we ride and ride
and in this illusion take pride
this boat we call life
and to live it we strife
when shall we see
that love, is simply to be

( speaking(cloud) thanks for posting it to the right place :)

very nice. Did you intend that last response resp:2 to be an addendum
to your original item?

as i see your smile
my breath misses me by a mile
that glow on your face
says nothing but grace
so blissful is your sight
that in you i can delight
you i will kiss
that the heavens would miss
as yoiur presence brings relief
my heart cries in disbelief
O grace
i long for your embrace
listen to the cry of my heart
as your vision tears me apart
live your life without fear
for i want to see you without that tear

Raj, it would be easier if you posted your poetry in separate items.

Could someone teach him how to do that?

response 14 of 20: Mark Unseen   Feb 8 23:54 UTC 1999

would really appreciate if someone could do that, am kind of computer shy :)
i have racked my brains
and all of it has been in vain
can someone show me the light
so that i do have to put up a fight

any help is more than welcome .... toujour :)

When grex gives you an "Ok:" prompt - when you just join a conference, for
instance, or when you are finished reading items in a conference - type
"enter" and hit return. You will be able to type in text just as if you were
posting a response, but the text will be at the beginning of a whole new item.

in addition when you want to end it you type a period or hit ^D... and it will
ask you if it is ok to enter the item.. and ask for a titel.
er title.

socializing does not necessiate ownership ... be it a thing or a person
I am assuming here that you meant that... caveat was necessary for assumption
is the mother of all misunderstanding.
bon jour tous les monde....
